As part of my role as the Steward Chairperson, I am responsible for Goodwill. SCETF recognizes those significant events in the lives of our members including the birth of a child (by a SCETF member or spouse/partner), adoption of a child, marriages and bereavement of an immediate family member, major surgery, accidents, severe illness and other significant events when members would benefit from the support and thoughts of our Federation.
This could include a card, a gift card or a donation to a charity. Please forward information on those goodwill items you would like recognized by SCETF to sue@scetf.org . Information needed would be event, name and gender of child if a birth or adoption, names of both spouses in the case of a wedding, address, and if a death, the relationship to the member and a charity that SCETF can make a donation on the member's behalf.
Starting this year, SCETF will be sponsoring members who are participating in a charity event. A $50 sponsorship would be available for 20 members in support of 20 different charities. To date, SCETF has made a donation to the Terry Fox Run and the CIBC Run for the Cure. Forward your name, school, the event (and charity) and the date of the event to sue@scetf.org. |
